The Alternative Project Athy continues to collaborate with the Lions Club Athy at St. Michaels Cemetery. This is a prime example of how we operate the Community Service Hours. The Service Users were referred to the team from the local Court through the Kildare Probation Team, The Probation Service, The Courts Service of Ireland, Department of Justice, and supported by KWETB tutor Karim Seddiq. We work with the local community in a collaborative approach engaging in positive work giving back to, and making reparation to the community of Athy, from where the sanction of Community Service Hours were imposed by the Athy District Court. The Service Users cleaned up graves and surrounds. Please see below before and after well done to all involved.
